Progress on Standardizing FMS (Fleet Management System) in Korea
The FMS (Fleet Management System) of the CAYT System (Connected Autonomous Yard Truck) applies the TIC 4.0 standard interface
to ensure compatibility with various Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) from different providers. It also provides a standard API for
integrating autonomous vehicles with the FMS.
Since May 2023, we have been working in collaboration with the Korea Shipping and Port Logistics Information Association (SPLIA) to
promote korea standardization for FMS integration and operation technology.
(*Association Standard Name: Container Terminal Transport Operations – Data Transmission Standards*)
This standard specifies data transmission protocols between "Transport Equipment/Transport Equipment Management Systems" and
"Terminal Operating Systems" to efficiently manage transport operations within container terminals.
The CAYT System aims to enhance interoperability between systems by defining data transmission standards, enabling the operation
and management of transport tasks based on data.
